Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan pengaruh program latihan bola basket terintegrasi life skills berbasis peran kapten bergilir dengan program latihan bola basket terintegrasi life skills terhadap peningkatan Positive Youth Development (PYD) pada atlet bola basket remaja. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimen dengan model pretest–posttest control group. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 90 atlet remaja yang dibagi ke dalam tiga kelompok, yaitu: (1) kelompok latihan bola basket terintegrasi life skillsdengan desain kapten bergilir (XT1), (2) kelompok latihan bola basket terintegrasi life skills tanpa desain kapten bergilir (XT2), dan (3) kelompok latihan bola basket tanpa integrasi life skills (XC). Instrumen pengukuran menggunakan Life Skills Scale for Sport (LSSS) yang terdiri dari delapan komponen yaitu: teamwork, goal setting, time management, emotional skills, communication, social skills, leadership, dan problem solving and decision making. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji Normalitas (Shapiro-Wilk), Uji Homogenitas (Uji Levene’s), Uji Perbedaan Menggunakakan ANOVA One-Way. Setelah memenuhi asumsi normalitas dan homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antar kelompok (F = 376,122; p < 0,05), dengan kelompok XT1 menunjukkan peningkatan life skills tertinggi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan life skills dengan integrasi life skills dengan desain kapten berganti paling efektif terutama pada komponen leadership dalam mendukung peningkatan life skills.
