The development of digital technology has increased smartphone use among adolescents, which has the potential to trigger sedentary behavior and affect physical activity levels. This study aims to analyze the relationship between habitual smartphone use and physical activity among twelfth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Sarudu. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. The research sample consisted of 120 students, determined using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using the Habitual Smartphone Use Scale (HSUS) to measure smartphone usage habits and the Physical Activity Questionnaire for Adolescents (PAQ-A) to assess students’ physical activity levels. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation tests. The results showed no significant relationship between habitual smartphone use and students’ physical activity (r = -0.127; p > 0.05). These findings indicate that smartphone use is not a primary factor influencing students’ physical activity, suggesting that other factors should be considered in efforts to improve adolescent physical activity levels
