Peer Review Process

1. Peer Review Mechanism

Articles submitted for publication in the Journal of Economics and Management are subjected to review by two (2) appointed expert peer reviewers (mitra bestari). The journal's evaluation process strictly adheres to a double-blind review system.

2. Plagiarism Screening

Plagiarism screening for manuscripts received by the Journal of Economics and Management is conducted through the established editorial and reviewer workflow, further supported by verification using the Turnitin platform.

3. Reviewer Evaluation Criteria and Final Recommendations

During the review process, the designated reviewers assess the manuscripts based on the following key criteria:

  • Topical Novelty

  • Objectivity

  • Methodology

  • Scientific Impact/Implications

  • Conclusion

  • References

Reviewers are required to select one of the following conclusive recommendations:
1. Accept Submission The article is accepted without any mandatory revisions.Proceeds directly to the editing process.

2. Revision Required Revisions are necessary, but a subsequent re-review is not required.Following author revision, the manuscript advances to the editing process.

3. Resubmit for Review Revisions are required, and the revised manuscript must undergo a second round of review. The revised manuscript is re-submitted and subjected to a full re-evaluation.

4. Resubmit elsewhereThe manuscript is rejected and is advised to be submitted to an alternative journal.Final rejection decision for this journal.

5. Decline SubmissionThe submission is rejected due to its failure to meet the requisite quality criteria.Final rejection decision.
