The following terms apply to authors who publish in this journal:
- Authors retain copyright and grant the journal first publication rights, with the work concurrently licensed under an Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/) that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
- Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., posting it to an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
- Authors must sign the copyright transfer agreement after approving the final proofs sent by Journal of Education, Language Innovation, and Applied Linguistics prior to publication.
