Author Guidelines
A. GENERAL GUIDELINES
Manuscripts submitted to the editorial board of the Jurnal Pengabdian Siliwangi must be in the form of research articles.
The manuscript must not have been previously published in any other media. If the article or part of it has been published or presented elsewhere, the author must clearly state this information.
The manuscript should be written in standard Indonesian or English using Garamond font size 12, on A4 paper, with margins of 2.5 cm on all sides, and single line spacing.
The manuscript length should be between 5,000 and 7,000 words (including abstract, figures, tables, and references).
The abstract must be written in both Indonesian and English, with a length of 150–300 words, and accompanied by 3–5 keywords.
Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system at: Login | Jurnal Pengabdian Siliwangi
All manuscripts will undergo a blind review process by reviewers, and the decision to accept or reject a manuscript is determined by the Editor.
Accepted manuscripts will be edited again by the editorial team without altering their substance.
B. TECHNICAL GUIDELINES
Title
The title should be concise, effective, and informative, with a maximum of 12 words, including conjunctions.
It should be written in Garamond font, size 12, single spacing.
The manuscript must include author identification consisting of:

Author’s name without academic title (Times New Roman 12, bold)

Institutional affiliation, institutional address, and email (Times New Roman 10, single spacing)
The author’s institutional affiliation should reflect their current professional activity.
The order of authors (if more than one) must be based on the level of contribution and participation in the research and writing. All authors are jointly responsible for the content of the manuscript.
Author Identity
The manuscript must include author identification:

Full name without academic title (Times New Roman 12, bold)

Institutional affiliation, institutional address, and email (Times New Roman 10, single spacing)
The institutional affiliation must correspond to the author’s current institution.
The order of author names should reflect their contribution, and all authors share responsibility for the manuscript content.
Abstract
The abstract must be concise and factual, covering the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
It should be written in both English and Indonesian, in one paragraph, between 150–250 words, using Times New Roman 10 font.
Keywords
Keywords should consist of 3–5 words or phrases, typed in italic, and separated by semicolons (;).
C. STRUCTURE OF THE ARTICLE
INTRODUCTION
The heading “INTRODUCTION” should be written in Times New Roman 12, bold, single spacing.
The body text should use Times New Roman 12 pt, justified alignment, with 6 pt spacing after each paragraph.
The introduction should contain the background of the research, related previous studies, expected outcomes, scientific contribution and novelty, objectives, and research methods.
Generally, the introduction should not be too extensive, approximately two pages (single-spaced).
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
The heading “RESULTS AND DISCUSSION” should be written in Times New Roman 12, bold, single spacing.
The content should be written in Times New Roman 12 pt, justified alignment, with 6 pt spacing after each paragraph.
This section should clearly and concisely present research findings, differences with previous studies, and analytical discussion of the results.
Results and discussion can be combined or separated into subheadings as needed.
Tables should be simple and open, while maps and figures should focus on the research object and not be too large or complex (preferably in JPG format).
Tables and figures must be numbered sequentially, e.g., Table 3.
Citations must follow APA Style (in-text or body note). See the technical citation guidelines below for details.
CONCLUSION
The heading “CONCLUSION” should be written in Times New Roman 12, bold, single spacing.
The content should use Times New Roman 12 pt, justified alignment, with 6 pt spacing after each paragraph.
This section should present conclusions that address the research objectives, contributions to scientific knowledge, benefits for publication, and potential applications or future research directions.
Suggestions for future research should also be included.
REFERENCES
The heading “REFERENCES” should be written in Times New Roman 12, bold, single spacing.
References must include only the sources cited within the manuscript.
Cited works should primarily come from journal articles.
Authors are encouraged to cite at least one or more articles from Jurnal Pengabdian Siliwangi.
The reference list must follow APA Style as demonstrated below.
D. CITATION MECHANISM
Citations should follow APA Style, using the following format:

Single author: write the last name, year of publication, and page number.
Example: (Kusnawan, 2000:21) or as stated by Kusnawan (2000:21). -
Multiple authors: write the last name of the first author followed by et al., year, and page number.
Example: (Muhyiddin et al., 2010:100) or according to Muhyiddin et al. (2010:100).

Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to ensure that their submission complies with all the following items. Submissions that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors.

The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration elsewhere (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor).

The article must be accompanied by a cover letter explaining why the article should be published in the Journal Pengabdian Siliwangi, what is already known about the topic, what new insights or advantages are added by the article, and a statement confirming that the manuscript is original and free from plagiarism.

The article must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.docx).
