Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to this journal must adhere to the Focus and Scope, as well as the Writing Guidelines of this journal. Submitted manuscripts must have scientific value or novelty that is in line with the focus and scope of the journal. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. All authors are advised to use plagiarism detection software to check for similarities. The editor checks for plagiarism in articles submitted to this journal using Turnitin software.

Research articles submitted to this journal will be reviewed (blind-peer-reviewed) by reviewers who are experts in their field. Reviewers provide valuable scientific comments to improve the content of the manuscript.

The final decision on article acceptance will be made by the Editor based on the reviewers' comments. The publication of accepted articles, including the order of publication, will be determined by the Editor-in-Chief, taking into account the order of receipt and the issues of existing articles.

  4. During the review process, peer reviewers provide considerations regarding uniqueness and novelty, scientific impact, conclusions, and references used.

JENDELA PLS: Jurnal Cendekiawan Ilmiah Pendidikan Luar Sekolah is a scientific journal that publishes the results of studies and research on non-formal and informal education and community education.

Editorial Responsibility

  1. The editor is responsible for deciding which articles are suitable for publication through editorial board meetings. The editor is guided by the journal's editorial board policy and is bound by applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism
  2. In the article acceptance process, the editorial team is based on the principle of equal treatment.
  3. In the journal review process and publication decision-making (articles), the editorial team does not discriminate based on the author's race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or political ideology.
  4. The editor and editorial team will not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts or articles without the author's permission.
  5. Manuscripts (articles) that are not published after submission will not be used by the editors for their own research and will be returned directly to the authors.

Reviewer Responsibilities

  1. Reviewers are responsible for their recommendations on reviewed articles.

Author Responsibilities

  1. Authors must present their articles clearly, honestly, and without plagiarism or data manipulation
  2. Authors are responsible for confirming the articles they have written
  3. Authors must comply with publication requirements regarding originality, non-plagiarism, and articles that have not been published in other journals or publications
  4. Authors must cite references from the opinions and works of others that are quoted
  5. Authors must write manuscripts or articles ethically, honestly, and responsibly, in accordance with applicable scientific writing regulations
  6. Authors are prohibited from submitting/publishing the same article to more than one journal or publication
  7. Authors do not object if the manuscript undergoes editing without changing the substance or main ideas of the writing

Publisher's Responsibilities

  1. The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, as the publisher of JENDELA PLS: Jurnal Cendekiawan Ilmiah Pendidikan Luar Sekolah, is responsible for publishing articles after they have undergone the submission, peer review, editing, and layout processes in accordance with the rules of scientific journal publishing
