Journal History

  • In November 2015, the Jurnal Ekonomi Manajemen was first published in print format. The journal is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes scholarly articles in the fields of economics, management, and business, including operations management, human resource management, financial management, and marketing management. It is managed and published by the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Siliwangi. The articles published in the journal consist primarily of original research papers and, as a secondary priority, novel review articles from academics and researchers that have not been published elsewhere. Volume 1, Number 1 (November 2015) published six research articles.
  • On November 6, 2015, the journal was registered with the Pusat Dokumentasi Ilmiah Indonesia Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (PDII LIPI) and obtained a print International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) with the code 2477-2275.
  • In Volume 2, Number 2 (November 2016), the Jurnal Ekonomi Manajemen published seven articles.
  • In Volume 3, Number 1 (May 2017), the journal began publishing eight articles per issue.
  • In line with technological developments and the increasing demand for scientific publication, the Management Study Program of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Siliwangi adopted the Open Journal System (OJS). In November 2017, the journal published all previously printed issues in online format and conducted its first call for papers.
  • In 2018, the Jurnal Ekonomi Manajemen established a collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the  Aliansi Program Studi Manajemen dan Bisnis Indonesia (APSMBI) to improve the quality of journal management and publication, which subsequently led to the establishment of the  Forum Pengelola Jurnal Manajemen.
  • On July 19, 2019, the journal obtained an online International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) with the code 2685-7057.
  • On November 4, 2022, the journal revised its article title format and added a running header to the article template.
  • Up to Volume 11, Number 2 (November 2025), the Jurnal Ekonomi Manajemen used OJS 2, which can be accessed through the LINK.
  • Starting from Volume 12, Number 1 (May 2026), the Jurnal Ekonomi Manajemen uses OJS 3 and implement a new one-column article template.
