PROTEACH: Professional Teacher Education and Innovation is committed to disseminating high-quality scholarly work through an open-access publishing model. In line with international best practices in academic publishing, all published articles are made freely and permanently accessible online without subscription barriers.

Current APC Policy

At present, PROTEACH does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC) for manuscript submission, processing, peer review, editing, publication, or online access.

Authors are not required to pay any fees at any stage of the editorial and publication process.

This waiver reflects the journal’s institutional support and commitment to promoting equitable access to scholarly communication, particularly in the field of professional teacher education and instructional innovation.

Future Policy Consideration

While PROTEACH currently operates under a fully sponsored open-access model, the journal reserves the right to introduce Article Processing Charges in the future to support:

  • Editorial and peer-review management systems

  • Professional copyediting and typesetting services

  • Digital preservation and indexing services

  • DOI registration and metadata enhancement

  • Platform maintenance and long-term sustainability

Any future changes to the APC policy will be publicly announced on the journal’s official website and will not affect manuscripts already under review.
